This article is about the legalization of same sex marriage and gay adoption in France. Last week, the first gay marriage was performed in France between the two grooms, Boileau and Autin. The article says that, “the marriage marked a “historic day” in the fight against discrimination in France and for “a society without judgment or rejection”.” This is a symbolic statement for France, against “hate, violence, and division”. Along with 13 other countries, France has now taken a large step towards more equality. Hopefully this law will allow the world to further the acts toward equality of humans.
Although there are still many people that oppose this act, this positive movement should help to open the eyes of the world to allow change for the better; change towards equality.
