This past weekend, Johnny Agar finished at 5k on his own for the first time. Johnny, at 19, has cerebral palsy, but has completed several 5k, 10k, and marathons with the help of his father. His most recent race, Johnny decided to walk the last half on his own. His dad helped Johnny out of his cart and onto his walker to allow Johnny to finish on his own feet.

This story should serve as a great example to everyone. “He is without a doubt an inspiration for his family and friends.” He told people that “there should be no reason why everyone else couldn’t complete the 3.1-mile race.” If they have a positive attitude and enough determination, they will be able to do anything they set there mind to.
